Homebound from Hospice

Here's my second post! It's been too long since I updated the site from my last post. I'm glad to be backfornow, I just hope I can keep up with the momentum. The truth is I've been sick since the spring, and recovery has been a pain in the ass. I still don't have much of an appetite, so naturally that affects my energy. I'm basically a vegetable hooked up to a feeding tube. All I can do is sleep and lie down in a dazeing dream. The worst part though is how BORING my days are. Having the TV on helps, but not for long. I can't wait till I'm back to my old self, and contributing to this forsaken world again. I already missed out on my summer, I don't want to miss the fall too!
Aside from my misery in my current state, there's also a few things I'm looking forward to. The main one is the recently announced Arghoselent show in my area. It's been too long since I've been to a good show, and this one is sure not to disappoint. I can only hope that I'll be in good enough shape to make it.
Another thing I'm looking into is taking classes again in the fall. I'm way late in getting my degree, but I'm about 88% done with it, and the money's already gone so why not?
I just need to complete my math and science requirements, then I'll be good to go. These aren't exactly my strongest subjects, so I'm also hoping to enroll in art classes to maintain my sanity. I found a couple programs that look promising, I just need to do more research on pricing. It sucks that most of the promising programs are in the northside, it makes it harder for people in my area to access them.
I am optimistic about it though. I'm just sick of neglecting my interests, and I don't want any talents I have to go to waste. I'll see how things go, and hopefully by next year my paintings will look like Velio Josto's.
